How do we handle high altitude sickness?

We include a full acclimatization day in Leh upon arrival. Our guides are trained to recognize symptoms of altitude sickness and carry necessary medication. We recommend drinking plenty of water, avoiding alcohol, and taking it easy during the first few days. Oxygen cylinders are available in our backup vehicle for emergencies.
